# Trackers

> Find device sessions, tracking on orders, and connected tracking services in Chrt.

Chrt brings shipment tracking into the same workspace as your shipment work. Use a device session to follow cargo independently of an order, or review the tracking sources available on an existing order.

## Choose where to start

| Your work | Start here |

The **Tracking** area includes **Devices**, **Sessions**, **Flights**, and **Geofences**. A device record identifies hardware; a session brings together tracking for that device. Tive and Reelables records have their own tracking pages. Use the page that matches the record you are reviewing.

The **Tracking** page in the app offers **Devices** 1, **Sessions** 2, **Flights** 3 and **Geofences** 4.

## Understand the tracking source

An order map can include driver tracking, cargo tracking from a device, a standalone device session, or tracking from a connected service. Which sources you see depends on the order and the data available to you. Check the record, timestamps, and source before using a location or sensor reading to make a shipment decision.

[Supported devices](/trackers/supported-devices) explains the device labels in Chrt. [Battery and data](/trackers/battery-data) explains how to read available telemetry. Confirm the hardware model and its capabilities before planning around battery life or a particular sensor.

## Get devices

chrt does not sell trackers self-serve. To request devices, learn about
pricing, or ask whether a specific tracker model fits your operation,
email [trackers@chrt.com](mailto:trackers@chrt.com). See
[chrt.com/trackers](https://chrt.com/trackers) for the marketing overview
of available hardware.

## Use tracking for shipment work

Choose what you share for the shipment and check the resulting view with the intended recipient. See [Sharing](/trackers/sharing) for organization sharing and public-session controls. Read the [Privacy Policy](https://legal.chrt.com/privacy) and [Product Terms](https://legal.chrt.com/product-terms) for the policies that apply to location and shipment data.
