# Welcome to chrt

**chrt is the logistics platform for time-critical shipping.**

chrt helps couriers, shippers, freight forwarders, and drivers see what is
moving and fix what is not. Use it to create and execute orders, coordinate
across carriers, track shipments in real time, collect proof of delivery, and
manage billing from one platform.

### Couriers

Run delivery operations from one place. Create orders for customers, dispatch
drivers, track your fleet live, collect proof of delivery, manage rate sheets,

### Tracker-only teams

Use chrt trackers without running a full courier operation. Register devices,
start tracking sessions, share public tracking links, and monitor cargo movement
through the dashboard or API.

## What chrt supports

* **Order management** -- build multi-stop, multi-carrier, and multi-modal
  shipments.
* **Live tracking** -- see driver, order, flight, and tracker movement on a map.
* **Shareable links** -- give customers or partners a public tracking view when
  they do not need a chrt login.
* **Proof of delivery** -- capture photos, signatures, barcodes, QR codes, and
  other stop-level documentation.
* **Driver operations** -- dispatch work to drivers through the mobile app,
  including offline-capable execution.
* **Notifications and messaging** -- keep shippers, dispatchers, drivers, and
  partners aligned with alerts and in-app communication.
* **Rates, billing, and payments** -- manage rate sheets, line items, invoices,
  statements, payment processing, and payouts.
* **Trackers** -- attach chrt trackers to orders or use standalone tracking
  sessions for cargo visibility.
