Battery and Data
Tracking readings describe what a source reported at a particular time. Check the record and timestamp along with the value. A battery reading is not a guarantee about how long a device will keep reporting.
Find Tive readings
Open the relevant record from Tive Devices or Tive Shipments. A Tive device detail page has a Sensors section when a latest data point is available, alongside its last-seen information. Use that record rather than assuming that a Chrt-native device record contains the same readings.
Read the fields that are present
Tive data-point views can show battery percentage when the data point includes battery data. Other available fields can include temperature, humidity, acceleration, motion, and light. These fields are shown conditionally; the readings present on one device do not establish the sensor set of another model.
Review the time for the selected data point before comparing readings. If a value is absent, do not substitute zero or assume that the device is healthy or failed. The page may have no sensor readings to display when no latest point is available.
When data is missing or old
Collect the device or shipment identifier, last-seen time, and the specific missing field when contacting trackers@chrt.com. For a Tive shipment, Integrations explains the Sync from Tive control and its result.
Confirm hardware handling, charging, and replacement instructions for the actual device model before taking physical action. This guide does not establish alert thresholds, battery life, a reporting interval, or a recovery procedure. Those require device and service validation.
Driver tracking is a separate source. Use the relevant driver app guidance for phone-side location settings, and check the shipment’s available data rather than assuming that each driver location report includes battery information.
