Set Up a Rate Sheet

Before you start

Use a rate sheet when you want chrt to price delivery orders using your standard fees. You can start with a simple rate sheet and refine it later.

Step-by-step instructions

1. Open chrt and go to Rate Sheets.
2. Click Create Ground Rate Sheet.
3. Enter the Rate Sheet Name.
4. In Basic Pricing, enter the Base Distance, Base Rate, and Additional Rate Per Mile.
5. Add any advanced pricing values your team needs, or leave optional fields blank for the first version.
6. Add comments if they help your team recognize the rate sheet.
7. Review the numbers carefully.
8. Click Save.

How to know it worked

The rate sheet should appear in the Rate Sheets list. It should also be available when your team creates or prices an order.

If something looks different

• If the app asks for more pricing details, fill only the required fields for the first version.
• If you are not sure about a price, try the rate sheet on a non-live test order before using it for real work.
• If the billing section is hidden, your user may not have billing setup access.
