This guide points courier teams to the current setup flow. Work through the steps in order; each one unlocks the next part of day-to-day courier operations.

1. Create or select your organization

Start by creating a workspace for your company, or selecting one your team already invited you to.

Create or select an organization

2. Choose Provider mode

Courier companies should choose Provider when chrt asks how the organization will use the platform. Provider mode unlocks dispatch, driver assignment, order execution, billing, and customer operations.

Choose how your organization uses chrt

3. Invite a driver

Invite at least one driver before creating live work. Drivers use the mobile app to receive assignments, share location, and complete delivery steps.

Invite a driver

4. Add a customer

Add an off-platform shipper customer when that customer places orders by phone, email, text, or another channel outside chrt.

Add a customer

5. Set up a rate sheet

Create a basic rate sheet so your team can quote and bill delivery work consistently. You can refine pricing after the first version is in place.

Set up a rate sheet

6. Create and assign an order

Create a delivery order for your customer, then assign it to a driver so the driver can execute the work from the mobile app.
